Intergaze Rollup Wind-Down Notice

Intergaze Rollup Wind-Down Notice

1. TL;DR

This notice is to formally wind down the Intergaze rollup and remove it from Initia’s ecosystem. Users have 14 days from this post to bridge their assets back to Initia L1. NFT collections minted on Intergaze will be migrated to Stargaze on Cosmos Hub — holders and creators will have until May 1st to register or opt out, with migration completing in the second half of May.

2. Background

2.1 About the Project

  • Protocol Name: Intergaze

  • Protocol Blurb: The Launchpad and Marketplace for Interwoven NFTs.

  • Protocol Type: NFT / Marketplace

3. Rationale & Impact

Background

Intergaze launched as a curated NFT launchpad and marketplace for the Interwoven Economy, powered by Stargaze infrastructure. Over the course of its operation on Initia, the platform achieved:

  • 19,456 wallets interacting with the platform

  • 19 curated collections minted

  • 435k+ INIT in total trading volume

  • Successful cross-rollup campaigns with Civitia and Embr

Despite these achievements, the Intergaze rollup is no longer sustainable to operate as a standalone chain within the Initia ecosystem. The operational requirements of maintaining rollup infrastructure — including sequencing, DA, and bridge maintenance — have outpaced the current activity level and revenue generated by the platform.

Why Are You Sunsetting the Intergaze Rollup?

After careful evaluation of our operational needs and resources, we have made the difficult decision to fully sunset the Intergaze rollup. Maintaining an active rollup on Initia requires ongoing infrastructure investment that is no longer justified by current usage patterns.

We are proud of what Intergaze accomplished as one of Initia’s early cultural rollups, and we are grateful to every creator, collector, and community member who participated.

VIP Score and Rewards

Intergaze was previously removed from the VIP program. No active VIP rewards are accruing at this time.

4. What’s Next?

Token Bridging

Users have 14 days from this post to bridge their INIT and any other tokens from the Intergaze rollup back to Initia L1. Users can bridge at bridge.initia.xyz — select Intergaze as the source network and Initia as the destination.

Before the shutdown, users are strongly advised to:

  • Cancel any open offers on the Intergaze marketplace to recover locked funds

  • Bridge all assets — including INIT and any other tokens held on Intergaze — to Initia L1 before the deadline

Any assets or funds locked in open offers that have not been withdrawn before the shutdown will be inaccessible after the rollup is shut down. Intergaze bears no responsibility for any assets lost as a result of failure to act within the wind-down period.

After the 14-day wind-down period, the rollup will be shut down and no further transactions will be processed.

NFT Migration to Stargaze on Cosmos Hub

All curated collections minted on Intergaze will be migrated to Stargaze on Cosmos Hub. Intergaze was built on Stargaze’s infrastructure, and this migration consolidates collections onto Stargaze — the primary home and most active hub for Stargaze-powered NFTs in the Cosmos ecosystem.

Users and creators will have time after the rollup shutdown to complete registration and opt-out requests before the migration. The full timeline is detailed in the Timeline section below.

Important: Wallet Registration Required

Because Intergaze uses EVM-compatible wallets and Stargaze uses Cosmos wallets with a different coin type, migration is not automatic. Holders must register their Cosmos wallet address linked to their Intergaze EVM wallet before May 1st.

  • Holders who have already linked their wallets via Stargaze Names will be migrated automatically — no action needed.

  • All other holders must use the intergaze-migration tool to register their Cosmos wallet address before May 1st.

A step-by-step guide will be published at intergaze.xyz and on @intergaze_xyz.

For Creators

Intergaze was a permissioned launchpad — all collections were reviewed and approved by the Intergaze team before launch. As part of this wind-down, all collections will be bridged to Stargaze on Cosmos Hub by default. Creators have until May 1st to request not to be migrated to Stargaze. Two options are available:

Opt out of Stargaze migration: Creators who do not wish to have their collection migrated to Stargaze may contact us before May 1st to opt out. Reach out via Discord.

Migrate to another chain: Creators who wish to migrate their collection to a chain other than Cosmos Hub, where the Stargaze app lives, are fully responsible for coordinating and executing that migration themselves. Intergaze will provide a snapshot of holders (EVM wallets) for the creators, but otherwise will not facilitate, support, or be held responsible for migrations to third-party chains. Collections that have opted out of the Stargaze migration and have not been independently bridged by their creator will be unrecoverable. Intergaze bears no responsibility for any collections that are lost, inaccessible, or otherwise affected as a result of the rollup shutdown.

No exceptions will be made after May 1st.
