Hi Initia team and community,
As a passionate supporter and participant in the Initia ecosystem, I would like to bring attention to a growing concern: the current Validator Power (VP) distribution is overly centralized. This goes against the core values of decentralization and long-term sustainability.
To address this, I strongly suggest that the Initia Foundation initiate a Validator Foundation Delegation Program, similar to what other leading projects like Solana, Celestia, and Starknet have implemented.
Such a program would:
- Promote decentralization by supporting smaller but high-quality validators
- Encourage technical contributions, community building, and ecosystem development
- Build long-term trust and fairness in validator selection
- Align the Foundation with the values of transparency and openness
It’s crucial that the process be public, fair, and merit-based, with clear guidelines and regular reviews.
I sincerely hope the Initia Foundation considers this proposal seriously and listens to the voice of the community. A robust and inclusive delegation program is a key step toward a healthy and decentralized network.
