Starting with the gauge vote for VIP Stage 10 on August 14 2025, the Initia Foundation will commence the VIP Bribe Match Program in collaboration with Cabal.
The Program
- The Initia Foundation will will match 50% of all bribes on Cabal.
- There will be a maximum match of 5,000 INIT per appchain per stage
- Only Bribes placed during the first 6 days of a stage are eligible to be matched
- The Initia Foundation will then match these bribes on the 7th day
At the end of the 6th day of a stage, all bribes on Cabal will be converted to their equivalent value in INIT and matches will be based on this value.
As the Initia Foundation continues to decrease its involvement with direct votes in the gauge: Initia Foundation’s Temporary Vote Allocation to Bootstrap the VIP Gauge - #11 by Initia_Foundation, this program steps in to steer teams towards utilizing Cabal if they wish to remain heavily involved in the weight pool side of VIP.
