1. Background

This proposal seeks to modify one or more on-chain parameters within Inertia Finance. The motivation behind this change is to decrease the current confirmation period in line with the greater Initia Network.

3. Rationale

These parameter changes are intended to:

  • Improve User Experience - To enhance user convenience, we plan to reduce the withdrawal period when using the Optimistic Bridge on Inertia from over 9 days to 7 days.

These updates are designed to maintain network security, enhance performance, or better serve community and validator incentives.

Governance Votes

  • YES – You support implementing the proposed parameter changes.
  • NO – You oppose making these changes to the on-chain parameters.
  • NO WITH VETO – This is a strong rejection, used when the proposal is:
    1. Spam or unrelated to Initia,
    2. Harmful to minority participants, or
    3. Violates Initia’s governance framework or promotes violations.

If more than one-third of the total votes are “No with Veto,” the proposal will be rejected and any deposits will be burned.
