Embr Wind-Down and Removal from VIP

TLDR

This proposal seeks to formally wind down Embr and remove from the VIP program.

  • Embr will be operational through Epoch 30 (2 more epochs) and will receive VIP rewards until then.

  • The next epoch will be bribed and operated the same as usual, but the last epoch will not be bribed and all COC rounds will be free.

  • On 06/18/2026, Embr will be shut down, meaning ALL assets should be bridged off of the chain by then. We cannot retrieve any funds on your behalf once the chain is shut down

With a heavy heart, we’re announcing that Embr will be winding down and permanently shutting down.

First, we want to sincerely thank every creator, trader, player, partner, and community member who joined us on this journey.

You helped bring Embr to life — from token launches and trading to Chains of Chaos, Rocket Galaxy, and the broader experiment of turning memecoin speculation into something more interactive, social, and fun.

This announcement explains what’s happening, why we’re making this decision, and how we’ll be handling the wind-down responsibly.

Background: What Embr Set Out to Build

Embr started with a simple belief: memecoin launches could be more than passive speculation.

We wanted to create a platform where communities could launch, trade, compete, and play around tokens in a way that felt alive. Instead of treating memecoins as static tickers on a chart, we explored what would happen if token creation, liquidity, gameplay, and community incentives were all connected.

That led us to build a memecoin-focused launchpad and trading platform with game mechanics at its core — from bonding curves and token graduations to Chains of Chaos, Rocket Galaxy, rewards systems, leaderboards, and community-driven campaigns.

Our ambition was to make Embr the home for competitive memecoin culture.

What We Learned and Why We’re Shutting Down

Embr started as an ambitious experiment to make memecoin launches more interactive, competitive, and fun.

Along the way, we hit milestones we’re genuinely proud of. We launched new token mechanics, built gameplay experiences like Chains of Chaos and Rocket Galaxy, brought creators and communities together, and saw users trade, play, compete, and engage with Embr in ways that showed us there is real appetite for more social and gamified crypto products.

But while we’re proud of what we built, we also had to be honest about where things stood.

The market moved quickly, liquidity became harder to sustain, and the platform did not reach the level of consistent activity needed to continue operating long term. We explored different paths forward, including new campaigns, product improvements, and gameplay-led growth, but ultimately, we could not find a sustainable path that matched our standards and responsibility to users.

Rather than continue without a clear long-term future, we made the difficult decision to wind down Embr properly, transparently, and with care.

What Happens Next

Embr will continue operating through the wind-down period so users have time to manage positions, participate in the remaining epochs, and exit responsibly.

Epoch 29 (May 21, 08:00 UTC - June 4, 08:00 UTC) : Final Bribed Epoch
Embr will continue supporting Cabal bribes for Epoch 29.
This will be the final epoch where bribes remain active, allowing the current incentive cycle to complete as planned.

Epoch 30 (June 4, 08:00 UTC - June 18, 08:00 UTC) : Final Epoch, No Bribes
Epoch 30 will be the final epoch.
There will be no bribes during Epoch 30, as the focus will shift fully toward winding down the platform, giving users clear exit paths, and preparing for the final shutdown.

During this final epoch, Chains of Chaos will become free-to-play, allowing users to continue participating without additional bribe-driven incentives.

Features Remain Live Until the Final Day

All core Embr features will remain functional until the final shutdown date.
Users will still be able to access the platform, manage positions, participate in remaining gameplay, trade where supported, and take any necessary actions throughout the wind-down period.
After the final shutdown date, Embr’s app, services, and related infrastructure will be permanently decommissioned.

User Assets and Positions

If You Hold Tokens Launched on Embr
Tokens launched on Embr will no longer be supported on-chain after the shutdown. Embr will no longer maintain the frontend, trading interface, campaign infrastructure, or related platform services after the shutdown date. Users should review their positions and unwind through available supported venues where liquidity exists.

Please close or manage any active positions before the wind-down period ends. After shutdown, Embr’s app interface will no longer be available to support trading activity, position management, or portfolio views.

If You Participated in Chains of Chaos or Rocket Galaxy
Gameplay features will remain available during the wind-down period.
Chains of Chaos will continue through the final epochs, with Epoch 29 as the final bribed epoch and Epoch 30 as the final free-to-play epoch. Rocket Galaxy and other gameplay features will remain functional until the final shutdown date, unless otherwise announced.

After the final shutdown date, all Embr gameplay experiences will be discontinued.

If You Participated in Points, Rewards, or Campaigns
Embr points, campaign rewards, leaderboard incentives, and related engagement systems will no longer continue after shutdown.

Protocol End-State

By the final shutdown date, we will:
* Stop maintaining and operating the Embr app and related services
* Disable or decommission frontend access where applicable
* Remove or restrict admin surfaces where appropriate
