As Inertia enters Stage 4, we’re excited to share a series of key updates to our VIP scoring system and core protocol parameters. The following changes are designed to reward long-term engagement, expand participation, and enhance capital efficiency across the Inertia and Initia ecosystems.
These changes are reflected from some of the old criteria as referenced here:

The following outlines the detailed changes:
1. VIP Score Mechanism - No more manual action needed
[Before] Manual updates required via “Update VIP Score” button
[Now] Fully automated score updates starting Stage 4
Detail: Up until Stage 3, users who are earning VIP rewards through Inertia needed to manually update their VIP score by clicking the “Update VIP Score” button on the Inertia web app. Starting from Stage 4, this process will be automated.
※ The Inertia team has decided to retrospectively compensate users who did not receive rewards from previous stages. Eligible rewards will be calculated for distribution once the technical implementation is in place.
2. Scoring Model : Time weighted scoring
[Before] Based on asset type and size only
[Now] Includes time-weighted scoring
Detail: VIP scores will now factor in how long assets stay in Inertia rather than just types and sizes of utilized assets. This not only rewards heavy usage, but also rewards those who have long-term vision and utility of the Inertia platform. Simply put: Longer your participation = Higher your score.
Both updates will go live with VIP Stage 4. We’re excited to enter this new phase and build stronger momentum with the Initia ecosystem.
